Championing Heritage and Green Spaces: The Power of Communication
Sara Huws and Nia Williams to speak at Civic Society meeting, 7pm, 23 April, Tiny Rebel Bar
Sara Huws, Cardiff University and Nia Williams from the Rhiwbina Eco Team will be Cardiff Civic Society’s special guests at our social evening at 7pm on 23 April in the Tiny Rebel Bar, Westgate Street, Cardiff
In difficult times, communicating positively about ways to value and maintain our heritage and green spaces is harder than ever.
That’s why we’ve invited two great communicators to speak about their work and campaigns.
Our chair, Nerys Lloyd-Pierce will hear from Sara Huws, presenter of S4C’s Waliau’n Siarad and Golwg magazine columnist about her approach to promoting heritage - including in her current job as Cardiff University’s officer for engaging in their archive and history.
The Rhiwbina Eco Team has a great record in involving all kinds of people in environmental activity. What is the secrety of their success. Nia Williams from the Eco Team will speak to us about her experience and her approach to community activism.
If you would like to attend, please email Nerys.
